Jacob is a director and producer living in Brooklyn, New York. He earned his MFA in Film at Temple University. His films and music videos have been shown at film festivals, on television, and on music sites such as The Source, 2DopeBoyz and Brooklyn Vegan. He is an alumni of the Kartemquin Film Labs, and a recipient of the Robert Flaherty seminar fellowship and the PIFVA Completion Grant. His feature film, SAMANTHA'S AMAZING ACROCATS, is currently touring film festivals and had its New York Premiere at the IFC Center as part of DOC NYC in the winter of 2017.
James Kwon Lee
James Kwon Lee was born in the UK, grew up in South Korea, and then lived in eight different US states. He graduated from Duke University with a biology degree and earned his MFA in film directing at USC School of Cinematic Arts, winning two merit scholarship awards. James then joined Propagate Content, where he helped develop Animal Emergency (NatGeoTV), Lore (Amazon), Planet of the Apps (Apple Music), and Vivica's Black Magic (Lifetime). Afterwards, James co-founded Framers Entertainment, LLC in Los Angeles, CA, where he wrote two feature screenplays, NOT FUNNY and LOCKSMITHS. The scripts have been shortlisted by Sundance, Austin Film Festival, Scriptapalooza, and Slamdance. James’ most recent directorial work, CAJUN DEMONOLOGISTS, premiered at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival.
